Default R79W battery core

I know these are like finding hens teeth. But looking for a nice R79W battery dated for a 03C 1970 L78. I'm not looking to buy $5000 NOS just a Nice to mint condition dead OEM original. Or dead NOS.

Does it have to be a W?
Will just an R79 core work for you?

I believe my build sheet calls out R79W. I Should have looked. Let me confirm that. I think it has T60 which requires the R79W.

I'm certain your L-78 wants a W,as that was the T-60 higher cranking horse engine Battery.
The std. R79 was much more plentiful in more cars back then,I was just wondering if my R79 would work for you.

Rich I will consider it but prefer the W battery being the correct one. I will give you a call later when I'm home from work.
