Thanks guys. I'm hoping for mid 13's but we'll see how things go.

Chevelle looks ready to rock!!

Everyone knows my opinion on white stripe bias ply tires so I won’t gush too much….

I am bummed to miss PSMCDR again this year.

So many great people, great cars, great event, just great!!

Beautiful Chevelle. Best of luck. Those tires will make it a beast coming off the line. Maybe a little less air pressure to get a bite if rules allow and safety too.

Much better than I expected considering a couple of months ago it had headers, a 800 DP and a Offy intake. I was hoping to build a fresh engine for the event but delays in everything from the machine shop to parts availability made that impossible so I "detuned" what I had. Best run of the event was a 12.88 @ 108 MPH.

Great day Saturday to be at Mid Michigan Motorplex. 70 degree temps and zero humidity.
Big turnout and a lot of fun. Now if they would open it up to 1980 and up ( to maybe 1993?) I'd love to see that era involved now also.

Before it got as technical as it is now, the Muscle Car drags used to have participation from the Late 80's muscle. This was during the late 80's so the cars were still fairly new at the time. Used to see fox body mustangs duking it out with GN's all the time with a few Irocs and TA's mixed in.

When we had our Muscle Car drags we allowed the newer stuff in as well, we just had a cutoff of 1972, and anything newer ran in a separate eliminator class. At the end we'd run off the winners of both classes for top eliminator. It was a fun format that got so popular we started doing it twice a year. This was up through the early 1990's.

No one really does anything like it anymore and what we do have is all pretty much East of the Mississippi. Nothing on the West coast. I still keep a couple of cars in PS form with hopes of doing it again.

Excellent running LS6 BlackLS5, nice job,. You are already close to some of the better running LS6's. I've went a best of 12.76 at 106 in my bird with a 1.89 60 foot. It usually runs 13.0's depending on the weather.

What a great time!
My buddy Joe in his '70 AMX did well in winning his time slot 3 out of 3!
His best time was a 12.789 @ 109.2
This is one of his time trials.

I made 13 passes and the best 60' time I had was 2.17. The weather was great as were the cars. Very nice AMX...
