Interesting, my 12B VN car has three holes. One was missing, one was stolen, and the other was trashed, unfortunately.

There durability when new was poor quality. Most of these clips ended up falling onto the streets.

Normally there is one on the firewall just beside the firewall piercing for the cable, and one in the tunnel just behind the floor seam on the passenger side of the tunnel. Where is this 3rd hole located in your car?

Just after the firewall drop-off in the tunnel on the passenger side.

Thanks...never seen one there and have had 4 of these cars. I just finished doing my cable and as said above the durability of the original clips was poor. When you open the prongs on an original...the base of those prongs weakens immediately. Trying to get them ready to reuse often results in them being severely weakened if not cracking or breaking off completely.

Hope the originals work out for you...as I have given up on trying to reuse them now.

You’re welcome...

This might be likely in part of VN/LOS and NOR build process. For example, many of the NOR camaros did not receive the upper cowl “blackout”. My 12B VN car surely had the “blackout” treatment in place when it rolled off the assembly line.
