Thanks for the correction. I forgot he crashed a p-51 mustang in Alabama.

Actually it was an experimental Aircam twin engine he put into the lake, not one of his P51’s.
Amazing circumstances and rescue by Retired Sgt. Mjr. Larry Hicks - link here…
