I couldn’t stand having a 69 “Chevelle” emblem on the trunk lid so Pete filled the old holes and blew in the red. He also welded up the power antenna hole and blew the top ridge of the quarter in. The paint on the trunk lid other than where the emblem goes is the old paint. I can’t believe how well the paint matches.

Incredible results,what's he using to blow those areas in with?..PPG Deltron?

I’ll find out for you. It’s just a cheaper line of acrylic enamel I think. He actually mixed the last coat with a flattening agent so he could polish it up to the same shine as the rest of the car. He was afraid if he painted it without it the flattener it might be different looking.

Got the rear valance painted and installed this afternoon. Looks much nicer than the black one.
