Yes I know the olds heads are plumbed for
The a.i.r. Piping
That's news to me on the 67 w cars I had thought
The D heads were used on them too!!
Beautiful restoration I'm very happy to see
You are keeping this one...funny I wonder
Where your 70 is now...( the one I worked on many years ago..))

----I had my 67 W30 at the 50th anniversary at MCACN and really enjoyed it. With that said I wasn't happy with a few things on the car. 1st, I had to have the trunk lid repainted due my own stupidity and chose the wrong shop to repaint it. They had way to much flake in the paint but it was too late to redo it. As well, there was a certain amount of shrinkage in different spots that I also was irritated with. This past summer I found a new shop, "Paddock's Paint Works", that is, simply put, the best I have ever used. He matched the trunk to the rest of the car perfectly and then worked the rest of the paint out to 5000 paper and buffed and polished it. To say I'm happy is an understatement. I really feel like I have a new 442. Just wanted to give this great shop big props!!!...….Bill S

I’m confused... you were able to make that car more shiny?

It Must be a bathroom mirror now.

Can’t wait to see it!!!

----Thanks for posting the pics, Ryan! I have had a feeling that as much as I like my W30, it looked a bit boring. I did the wheel treatment as if I had bought the car new and literally changed out the wheels and tires as quick as I could. Back in 67 a lot of guys had different wheels front and back. I felt this look reminds me of going to Dragway 42 and making a couple of passes. Then going home and putting the americans back on the rear....Bill S
