Default Wisconsin members, need cabin help

I have all but given up trying to locate a cabin in west central or northwest Wisconsin. May even consider northern Michigan (not the UP) but are trying to keep it under an 8 hour drive for us. I have tried Facebook, Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. I have spent the better part of 25 hours over 2 months and cannot locate a cabin that fills my needs in the north. This is going to be a very special weekend for Annie and me. Besides her never hearing or seeing a loon, she has also never experienced the northern lights as well as me having a very special surprise for her.

I am looking for a rustic medium sized cabin ON a somewhat private lake, i.e. NOT wall to wall cabins, people or boat traffic. Prefer a smaller lake, 50 acres or less but will consider others. Fishing is also important and would like fish I cannot catch here such as Walleye, Pike and maybe Musky. Row boat, trolling motor a plus or somewhere I can bring my 16' fishing boat is even better. Must allow 2 well behaved and trained dogs. We bring our own linens, condiments, charcoal, etc and always thoroughly clean our cabins when we leave so we make very good renters. We are really just looking for a quiet, private place to get away from it all. I am not that price conscience on this trip especially for the right cabin so I am open there. We are wanting to stay from May 18th through May 24th.

If anyone knows of a rental cabin that fits these requirements or someone who is a personal cabin owner and willing to rent to us privately please let me know via email or PM. [email protected]. The attached photos are an example of where we stay in southern Indiana every year and I am looking for something similar. Thanks to all the members for your help and consideration.

It is indeed beautiful country up north and one of the reasons why I want to take here there as she has only been that far north one time and that was only for a day. Until you hear a loon on the lake at night you cannot appreciate them nor the Northern Lights.
