Unhappy Luke Perry, 52

Man, this one hits a little close to home for me as he was 2 weeks younger than me. He was actually a pretty decent actor and did a good job in "8 Seconds" about rodeo star Layne Frost, as well as in "Riverdale" which is Netflix adult version of the Archie comics.

Oh, boy... way too young! I thought they said on the news he was stable. I guess you never know what's gonna happen. I had heard one point someone said he was put in an induced coma, but never heard a confirmation on that. Very sad. RIP Luke.

Yes, very sad. I haven't heard any reasons why yet, although one person alluded to smoking a couple packs a day may have been part of the reason, though not sure yet.

Rip. I bumped into him in a New York City Hotel Lobby few years back.

They said on the news today that his stroke was massive. From what was said they kept him sedated. Maybe to keep blood pressure more controlled. He unfortunately never regained consciousness and had no brain waves. They mentioned that our brains tend to shrink as we get older which actually leaves some room for the brain to swell. It was stated that since he was young, brain swelling could have also been a problem. He had some other health issues in the past. Colon cancer was one of them. Sad news...
