Wink Lubrication...

I like the liquor bottles on the work bench, they are for lubrication needs I assume

Therefore, I won't be using this shifter and will patch up the hole for use a short throw Super Shifter. Also ran the 383 motor today to get it lubricated before getting it ready to go into the car tomorrow. Gotta keep banging away at it now.

Graeme,

What did you use for a grommet for the breather on the driver side valve cover? My PVC is in that hole...what is in the passenger side? Is the breather for small block of big? I want to take off the hose for the air cleaner and put a breather there instead. Have the same covers on mine.

Yes, those are strictly lubricants. The rum seems to lubricate better than the whiskey, so we use the Crown Royal for parts cleaner. Which parts I cannot say.

[QUOTE=big gear head;1434371]Have you seen the price on this?https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1960s-R...R/401441666151[/QUOTE

About 25 years ago, when someone would ask a ridiculous price for a part, we would say thats a Greenhoe price. The seller is J. Greenhoe.

That's hilarious. Had no idea of that.

Someone should make up a smiley with a sign that says that for use here.

Rounding the corner here with 10 days left to finish it up before the World of Wheels in Calgary. Finished installing the clutch today, added some solid motor mounts, dropped the stroker motor into the Nova and got the headers set. Once everything else is in to surround the motor, it should have a real nice clean look to it. And a nice lumpy solid cam to announce itself with. More later in the week.

Another Hays Gold Clutch which they no longer make.

The custom Day II M/T headers fit like a glove.

Even the drivers side has lots of room. Maybe Hooker could fix their design!!!

Nice equal length on the collectors as well.

I think I'm gonna run the 302 breather w/ factory base.
