I appreciate the comments. I was very interested in and read your post about your Nova several times over, your cars are top notch.

L78racer,

The exhaust is a stainless flowmaster kit. It was on the car when I got it. I ditched the flowmaster mufflers and put a pair of borla proxs turbo mufflers on it, they sound much better. The exhaust fits nice, except it puts the mufflers close to the pinion on the rear end, especially with a 1350. I drove it around the block yesterday and didn't hear anything hitting.

I'm flattered Mike but much like yourself, I've been hanging around here learning from all the others who have been doing the day 2 thing longer than I. Lots of great people here to help out with suggested parts, and many who are willing to share come cool stuff from their own stash of parts.

Grady's Copo was the car that spelled it all out for me. Such a killer car...as are many of the others featured here in these threads.

Cheers

Looks great. I did not know they made that system in stainless. I had the same system on my Nova only it was steel. I also ditched the mufflers for something quieter. I flanged it at the tailpipes so I could drop it out for 1/4 mile stuff.

They were 15x7 wheels with 215/65/15 on the front and 255/60/15 on the rear.

Default My Day 2 Nova

MonteMike: I have a '71 Nova in Black also with custom black bench seat interior and 4 speed. What size and backspace on the chrome reverse wheels, and where did you purchase them? New or rechromed used? Thanks, Don.

The rear wheels are wheel vintiques chrome 64 series steel wheel 15x7 with 4.25" back space. They aren't a true reverse. I ordered them from summit.
