I have rally wheels, old school torque thrusts d, Nos American chrome wheels from the 70’s that look like the Baja wheels. They’re 8 hole and look good on the montes. Really thin whitewalls would look best on the rallys. Redlines were an option on the 70 montes.

Today is my first time visiting this thread. As a former 71 Monte owner, I'm likin' it! Awesome work Jason and I'm sure the finished product will be stunning!

Motor and tranny are in. Had to make some additional room for the 5 speed. The hydraulic clutch Is the way to go. The install was pretty simple other than the tunnel modifications! Just need to finish with seam sealer

The Monte is almost ready to head back to NJ. Jeff has a couple things to finish up. Can't believe it has been almost 3 years since I started this car for Jeff. Just charged the AC last night. I need to install the lower rocker molding trim, hood, fender wheel well trim and buff out the fenders. With the Gardners exhaust, the 496, 5speed and 373 gears the car is going to be a sweet ride!
