Great pics, thanks for posting!

This series you posted is definitely from the 1964 World's Fair in NYC. Check out the Chrysler building in the background with the pentastar emblems for the roof segments! The giant Uniroyal tire ended up in Michigan after the show. Walt Disney was involved with the 1964 NY World's Fair, and in fact his dinosaurs were a huge hit. They ended up in Epcot Center as the popular Universe Of Energy ride.

Ford had an incredible display, including a skyway where real Ford cars were used in a ride that carted you around on a elevated platform. Millions of people rode the Ford ride during the World's Fair.

Looks like they changed out the hubcap from the fair. The Worlds Fair hubcap always reminded me of the 1972 Cutlass S hubcap.

Yes, they did Tim. It's been through a few changes over the years. At one time it had a giant nail in it.

Here's what it looked like when they first brought it here... and with the nail:

a local realtor had the nail bolted to a trailer for some sort of gimmick.

I just recently acquired a few pictures of my dad. This one is from the 1954-1955.

I believe the car is a 1949 Pontiac Streamliner?

Most of these were taken in Los Angeles, Hollywood and all around southern Cal.
