----Oh, the humanity! I believe the seat is a Mustang bench seat. Who would defile a Corvette that way? In the last 50 years I have never seen the divider behind the seat rusted out. I have to wonder about the frame. This poor 65 is a mess!....Bill S

That's what we call a RUSTY BONE for sure. A guy would be upside down real quick with that project.

It reminds me of this 1965 Corvette that I helped push out of an open garage two weeks ago. I'm sure it will be a restomod in a year or two.

I think that was left outside with the top down for quite awhile, and the interior was full of water. That bulkhead rust is obscene, and the rockers look to be rotted pretty badly also. The frame doesn’t look nearly as rusty as the inside. That would also explain the mustang seats.
