That guy (Sled) has found some amazing stuff down there. My understanding is that quite a few road race cars made their way to Mexico later in the 1970s (after they were obsolete up here).

That's the Camaro I saw in Austin on the way to California.
Has he done anything with the car yet, Charley?

Hello all; idiot friend here

Still collecting parts for a correct restoration of this heap.

Yep, NOS GM quarters, tail panel, front sheet metal, grill, spoilers as well as original paint doors and endura. Nine Magnesium 200S Americans. All NOS correctly dated Stewart Warner 2 5/8 gauges plus a Stall/Jones tach. Original 69 Warranty M22 case now filled with GM M22 gears and the goofy Impala shifter. Original interior door panels, Berry fiberglass seat, and the unique Moto Lita steering wheel as was originally equipped. Complete GM cross ram with original 891 dated carbs and GM air cleaner. April 69 dated #618 block originally prepared by TRACO as well as ONE #186 Traco head--anybody out there have any original Traco pieces? I also own the original Stahl headers that were run on the Harn 67 Z--a perfect fit for this car. The car had all SIX of its original rear shocks including the two Koni Double adjustables. YEP, the front Koni's were gone but a pair of nicely dated double adjustables were located. The complete JL8/J56 front brakes were in place as was the 4:56 geared 12 bolt that Guldstrand modified to accept JL8/J56 rear disc brakes. The front sub frame was badly damaged but has been dissected and repared.

Still a few items to acquire and then the labor can begin

Thank you for the update, Robert. I've wondered about the progress of that car.
