Default Tropic Torquoise

Does anyone know if Tropic Torquoise has metallic in it ? I have looked at some pics & can't tell... I know there was a 69 Camaro posted on here that color but couldn't find it ...

There was no 69 color by that name. Azure Turquoise??

Tropical Turquoise in 1966 was a metallic color.

Azure Turquoise was also metallic.

Default Trpoical...

There was a Tropical Turquoise available on the 1968 Nova...in fact it was one of the 4 colors of the Gibb cars. Very cool...not something you see everyday.

Nova, Chevelle and Camaro Turquoise Colors By Year:

1965: Artesian Turquoise

1966: Artesian Turquoise

1967: Emerald Turquoise

1968: Tripoli Turquoise

1969: Azure Turquoise

Tropical Turquoise was a 1957 Chevrolet color BTW. It's a solid color - non-metallic. All the other Turquoise colors listed above are metallic. You can see how much different the hue is













Please keep in mind that photos of cars can be a little misleading when it comes to comparing colors due to the lighting they were photographed by. Bright sunlight will make a car's color look lighter than either overcast, shade or indoors.
