I sent the F.I. unit out to Ken Hansen last Thursday 1.7.21. I already received these 2 videos today. I'm glad I enlisted the help of a professional

I see what you mean Bruce.........

Funny, SYC seems to be the only place I posted where the problem exists.

Technology is not my strong suit for certain

I've started to gut the dash in order to replace the insulation on the firewall and the wiring harness's. I'll also rebuild the wiper motor, radio, dash cluster. I cleaned up the original 4311 brake booster. That's getting sent out to Mike Gibbons for a mechanical refresh as well.

Certainly, the car did not sit in the most ideal of environments. I knew the windshield had been replaced for one reason or another. Looks like it was leaking, but the windshield frame is really solid

I'll rebuild the heater box today.......

I ordered a new gas tank, as I fear I will always fight this tank and what finds it's way into the F.I. unit. What isn't pictured is all of the rust pits

Hi Tim,

If you email the videos to me-or give me another link, I can most likely get them to show up here....

Living in the north country like you, I kept waiting for the discovery of the mouse condo in that insulation. I guess CA mice don't need to take up residency in cars over the winter.

Crazy clean not only for it's age, but for sitting for so long. Nothing like a southern car to work on.

Funny story..........so once the drivetrain was out, I was steam cleaning again. No big deal, right? I blew out about a 5" long dog chit. Found it laying on the shop floor. I'm thinking to myself....."WTF"?

I think it came from below the battery mount. That's a first for me!

Thanks for the kind words
Tim

Ever see a coon turd ? they look a lot like a small dogs. More likely for a coon to crawl up under the tray...
