Default Saw a Chevelle with "Phase III"

Was headed west on Rt. 90 towards Rochester, NY last Sunday and at a rest stop I saw a '73 or '74 Chevelle with Phase III painted on the rear quarters. The car was on a trailer. The license plate said "Ratified". Anyone here?
Also, tons of muscle cars headed south on 87 toward NYC.

It did look like the picture although I think it was dark green. The tow vehicle was a white Expedition (I think).

The Lake George thing makes sense - I drove from Monroe, CT to Pittsford, NY (84 to 87 to 90) and saw at least 100 classics.

I know that car. -I'm positive that's his plate. It looks just like the one in the pic (silver), but it's a clone. It looks good and has been done for about a year now.

So, your in town now? If you have time tomorrow (Wednesday) go to the Log Cabin cruise night. It's east out on RT. 31F. They start coming in around early dinner time 4:30-5:00 and stay till dusk. If it's a good day, they may get over 600 cars! They have before. The least I've seen is probably 150-200. Depending where you are, it's probably a good 15 minute ride.

Paul,

Thanks for the invite but I am back in CT already. Just went up to buy a house (3.5 car garage - yahoo). Will be there permanently around November 1st. Good to hear about the cruise night. I don't have a car yet but I just acquired my wife's dream house. I see a '69 Z/28 in my immediate future.

I talked to the guy last Thursday when driving down from Niagara falls. He stopped at the same rest area as I did, not far from Rochester. The car doesn´t have the "427 cui" on the hood. He didn´t want to do that since it´s an original 454 fourspeed car. One of 600 he said. He´s got the 454 emblems on the frontfenders. I took a couple of photos but not with a digital camera.

Joe,

I haven't made it up this year!

I'm about 20 min. West. Hopefully next year I'll do better (and the weather too) to make it up there in my '64 Nova. There is always a nice mix of stuff there. What have you driven there?

Paul
