A vintage Bud Mills Chevrolet yellow vinyl litter bag.
Mills was a well known midwest Hi-Performance orientated dealer in the quint cities back then, and participated in the Yenko network too. They were big into Corvettes,BB Chevelles-Camaros & sold at least one 1970 Nova Deuce. SOLD |

Re: Mills Chevrolet Moline,Il.
Ericksen's sold the deuce down the road in Milan. Mills may have sold a 68 Yenko Camaro.

Re: Mills Chevrolet Moline,Il.
Mills Chevrolet is one of our Nickey Super Camaro Network Dealers. They are having a 2010 Camaro unveiling event this Saturday from 9:00 until 5:00.
We'll have the Rally Green COPO and our 2010 Nickey Super Camaro at the event. Stop by and say Hello. The Mills family has been involved with Chevy Super Cars for decades. A close relative owned Dale Chevrolet as well. |

Re: Mills Chevrolet Moline,Il.
You gonna be there?
Mills probably sold more performance cars in the Quint,(now known as Quad cities) than any other Chevy dealer, although Ericksen's sold quite a few. I have never figured out why there were no COPOs sold in this area. Mills was well enough connected that you'd think some would have gone through them. BTW Cronkleton has a red 68 L78 Nova sold from Mills. It's about two weeks off of Ray Morrison's Harrell/Gibb Nova. I didn't know about the Dale connection. Cool. |

Re: Mills Chevrolet Moline,Il.
I was wondering why Mills didn't show up in the Yenko network, but was told differently.
Thanks for setting the record straight Ken. |

Interesting thread. I am still the dealer operator for Mills Chevrolet, now in Davenport Iowa; moved the point in 2016 from Moline. My dad, known as Bud, had a sister who married Con Dale from Waukesha. He worked for them until he bought the Moline dealership in 1952. Indeed high performance cars were a big part of what we did.
