I'm sorry that I was unclear and confusing.
It was That I am going through some photos and found a picture where it was dark primer in the same places as it was written on the Heavy's Camaro

Still not sure what you mean Carleen. Don't think Heavy had anything painted on these quarters when he was racing it because the wheel wells were cut on his Pumpkin car. The BM car was Hugger Orange and not blue was it?

Okay, I have to take this from the beginning.
Was looking online and looking at Pictures and found photos where the Heavy's Camaro was White.
Remember that someone had seen it when it stood chained to a pole outside a Workshop.
Found JR Sully post where he said it was Brooklyn Heavy on the door and the car was orange.
The Orange one dident have Brooklyn Heavy on the door as the White one have.
The Orange one had RB Brooklyn Wild Pumpkin on the door.
And then I was wondering if the White car and orange was the same.

I rememberd that some one said that the car was probably not Hugger Orange from the beginning Becuse the Hockey stripe was not corect. think it was on Team Camaro site.

Then I found on another site which said that Heavy painted Camaro, but have not talked to him yet. It was probably when it become White.
So the Camaro was probley White When JR Sully saw it.

So I sat and went through a lot of pictures and found pictures on the Blue Camaro
With Grey Primer. It was not supposed to say it was the Heavy's Camaro but had dark primer on the locations it was written on Heavy's Camaro.

From Nitro Mater someone named Marc White

Used to hang at a body shop that painted some of Heavy's cars...Interesting group. Still remember the Brooklyn Heavy vs. Levi Holmes races at E. Town. I think a few dollars changed hands.

When they dropped off the 69 Camaro at the paint shop. We asked them to help us push it in off the street...They just told us start it up and drive it in. Early Pro Stock/BIG money street race car..lenco the whole bit. We asked arent you worried leaving a running car here? Answer...No ones gonna mess with our stuff. Nuff said

sounds like the orange Motion Camaro was used as some type of demo car.
It was a high option car, was used as a show car, then driven to the track at least two times, and also had the engine set up changed

If you look at the Pictures when it was new, Hockey Stick is not Correct and no wheel opening moldings.
Joe C, you know who did the Paint job for Joel Rosen.

Gary “The Local Brush” Kupfer did some of the paint work for Motion but I think they used other local shops as needed
Gary's site

The orange 69 may be a different car then the white one.
Heavy went to the 70 Camaro as many did in 1970 but back to a 69 as many did in mid 1970s as the rules changed

The 1969 red white and blue Motion sponsored Ferrara/Zule car was run in mid 70s
The white Heavy 69 looks like from same mid 70s period so he may have bought a different 69 with updated chassis unless he saved the orange one

http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Event...RACE-CAR-44044

side notes, The orange car has those Mustang GT mirrors Joel liked to use on the Corvettes and other MP cars
The Heavy orange car has 396 emblems, that was something street racers did
