It's aftermarket AC so that has no meaning regarding the originality.

Is there not a factory A/C control in the dashboard? I could be mistaken

I was just giving my opinion on this car and like I said if I was the high bidder and found a link with the same car for sale at a third of what it is now I would be very cautious.
It would have been a lot less trouble and naming calling if the seller had done his homework before he started this mess!
Why not call the dealer where it originally came from? Has anybody done that? It seems strange that the dealer who deals in muscle cars wouldn't know it was a COPO.

You couldn't have a better person (Charley Lillard) trying to help you. Also the ethical thing would not be selling the car on ebay until the real facts are discovered, unless you disclose the uncertainty to the bidders so they are honestly informed. My .02.

I HAVE RIVISED MY AUCTION TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY ,
PLESE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THING. THE CAR WILL STAY ON EBAY BECAUSE IT'S GOTTA GO, IT'S BEEN A PAIN IN MY A$$

I HAD A DEALERSHIP OWNER IN FL , GO THROUGH THE PAPERWORK AND HE SAID IT WAS A 68 COPO CAMARO FROM CA, THEN HE TRIED BEATING ME UP BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS MODIFIED, ALSO GOT THE SAME INFO ON THE CAR FROM MANY PEOPLE WHEN SHOWN MY PAPERWORK IN DAYTONA AT THE TURKEY ROD RUN THIS NOVEMBER, MY DOUBTS CAME FROM READING SOME OF THE BULL ON THIS SITE AND ALSO THE FACT THAT GOERGE STAUFER(STAUFER CLASSICS) RAN THE VIN #'S THROUGH A FRIEND AND CAME BACKE SAYING THAT THE CAR CAME FROM DANA, SO IM WONDERING WHY THE GUYS ON THIS FORUM CAN'T COME UP WITH INFO AND IF THEY HAVE WHY ARE THEY HOLDING THAT INFO BACK FROM THE FORUM

Dana Man... Nobody here has any helpful info because they have nothing to go on. Until we see the car or paperwork there is really nothing we can do.

The paperwork will have the cars serial # on it. If the paperwork appears real then you can tie it to the car by the serial # on the car. They are throwing BS at you because they have yet to see any paperwork. Please just let us keep this calm until there is something to see.
