Default Car values, specifically 1969 Z28

What are everyones thoughts as to the value of a 69 Z28 in todays market as compared to circa 2006. I had a little chuckle when I opened up my appraisal folder to find out the appraiser seems to think the car is worth $4000 less now than in 2006. Car is in exact same condition as it was in 2006. Nothing has changed except regular maintenance

It feels like a very similar place, price bubble-wise. $4000 is probably only around 5% different so they’re essentially the same. Both appraisals are probably notably higher than any of the years in between.

If anything, I'd say prices are up from 2006, and by at least 12-15% in my opinion.

Agree. Have seen some pretty mediocre 69 Z's bring unreal prices lately.

Don't even get me started on ASKING prices the last few months. Couple of guys hit home runs and everyone thinks they are Babe Ruth.

By and large I am not real big on these car appraissels, but given the fact that 2006 was the last one done, I figured I should have paperwork in hand in case the unthinkable happens. The insurance companies can be very cruel.

The last nice cars I have seen change hands were $45k, $170k, $220k, $220k, $80k, and there is a nice one on BAT right now at $73k. So, who knows... values all over the place.
