Default AMX websites?

I always secretly lusted after a 1970 AMX ever since I saw a 390 4 speed version all loaded up with sidepipes, ramair hood, spoilers, and that shadow mask paint job when i was a teenager and a guy used to park one at the local community college near my house.

Are there any decent enthusiast sites (like this one) that cater to AMX'ers?

I think you will have to settle for a general AMC forum.

theamcforum.com is THE amc site...i have been a member for a long time..sadly, i'm not on there enough...i have developed other interests...and when i slide thru there i hardly know anyone...

Eddie Stakes owns planet-houston..he's different...he is eccentric and has a strange sense of humor...but he is a die hard AMC guy and has done so much for the the hobby he will never be fully appreciated for his efforts..he has brought a lot of parts to market

Ditto what Mark said on Eddie Stakes

I've been to his house to pick up stuff and visit. Red./White/Blue blood cells in that guy.

Another guy who has been active with the marque since they fell out of the womb is Tom Benvie, a class act, historian, enthusiast, collector.
Neat story on the 69 SS/AMX's. AMC played a little dirty pool and sent a package to the car owners in 1970 that included the alluring hood that NJSteve is smitten by, taillights and a new VIN......yup a new VIN!!!! Needless to say it did not go over well.
