Default Small flashlight recommendations

Has to be fairly bright.

Has to be durable enough I can drop it multiple times and it continues to work.

Must be LED. Would like rechargeable IF the batteries will stay charged long enough to finish a job!!!

I am DONE with Coast. Yes, they have honored the lifetime guarantee, but I don't have time to keep getting new ones. They flicker, work sometimes, don't others, and it is REALLY frustrating when one just quits in the middle of a job. Set it down for a few minutes and starts working again. Pretty sure they won't warranty the one I just threw against the wall over the weekend out of frustration. POS.

Have a couple of Tasco that have held up fairly well, but seems the batteries just don't last long.

I have always had great luck with Underwater Kinetics. They are lightweight, plastic, waterproof and durable. I probably have 6 or 7 of them.

I guess it depends what size and what you’re using it for? I have found like the DeWalt with the rechargeable batteries work really nice for a handheld, but have been defaulting to the headlamps when I’m working on my cars.

Stream light all day. I’ve had mine for 15 years and it hasn’t failed yet from daily use and abuse. I use the Stinger rechargeable model.

I’ve got 7-8 different size Fenix lights. I had the switch on one fail after 5 years, or so, but they’ve been quite durable and reliable.

Another I found to be very reliable is the NEBO line of lights. I probably have 4-5 of them.
