Default Crash Proof

I was thumbing through my stacks of old magazines looking for “Test Articles” of 60’s muscle cars and discovered I still had this ‘87 Autoweek.

With the sky high prices of collector cars of recent, this magazine offered up what some people elect to invest in.

Life’s a gamble and so are our investments, but owning a true collectible automobile to look at, work on and drive is priceless.

The beginning of the end of this being a hobby that the average person could afford to do.

I worked at a Corvette restoration shop during this timeframe and 67 435 HP Corvettes were starting to skyrocket in value - many thought the prices were insane. We couldn't restore them fast enough and everyone was looking for one. Not much has changed on the demand side except now the prices are 3-4 times what they were then.
