Re: 1969 camaro ss 396 375 documentation question
Look for the single 3/8" diameter fuel line from the tank to the pump. Also, the 375 Hp BB has the 6000 RPM redline tachometer if it is installed. Deep groove pulleys are another good indicator. If you can track the previous owners, that would be invaluable.

Re: 1969 camaro ss 396 375 documentation question
Look for the heater core cover with the lines in the center
vs. the end closest to the engine. Look for a BB X-member ( unique 4-speed -and- unique THM400 ). The THM400 version is tubular ( this application only ) and the BB 4-speed has a square hole vs. a racetrack shaped hole. All SHP 69 Camaro applications used the '1105DD pulley ( Z/28 & L/78 & L/72 ). Look for the engine frame mount part numbers stamped on the upper portion between the two bolt hole locations. If the original alternator survived, that would be an '837 part number. Again, SHP only. There's a good start. The single 3/8" fuel line was already mentioned. Steve
