Default 1968 Camaro - Sill Plates

Hey folks:

Anyone have two NOS or original (in good shape) sill plates for a 1968 Camaro standard interior for sale? I've got an old original sill plate in rough shape that has two rivets on either side of the Fisher name plate. However, I've heard that the factory ones had no rivets so not sure what's actually correct. Many thanks. Tommy 68

Mine have the rivets, and unless I'm mistaken, the assembly-line plates on all first-gen years had them too. Used to be how to spot reproductions, since they had no rivets, the Fisher carriage windows were the wrong size, and the finish was too shiny. Later reproductions included the rivets, but I haven't seen any close up to spot other differences or improvements.
EDIT: I *think* that later GM service replacement also lacked the rivets, so some NOS parts may not be assembly-line correct either.

Here's a front and back picture, they're a bit worn from use but you can see the small size of the rivets used.

I have a nice pair of used ones with the rivets if interested.

Hi Tommy, replied to your PM - I still have these https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...ro+sill+plates available.

The parts books call out this part number for all 67-69 Camaros.

FYI, they are clearly NOS GM in older wrappers, but no rivets.

Thanks again for reaching out,
Anthony

I have 2 sets of NOS , if memory serves me correctly 1 set has rivets & 1 set does not ... I am guessing by the prior post they fit 67-69
