Default '67 Corvette Convertible, Orig Paint #s 327/4-sp Estate Sale Find

Cool car - wish the paint was nicer but what can you do. There can't be a lot of these hiding out in Southern California estate sales, but here's one. $36,967 opening bid and no reserve.

----Is it asking too much to state what 327 engine is under the hood and show us a picture? The car must have already had a brass replacement radiator as the original would have been aluminum and not capable of being re-cored. I wonder about the engine compartment as there are a bunch of expensive pieces under there that could be missing. There is a phone no. so I guess he could answer the questions, but not a good start...…..Bill S

It clearly says 327/300HP. I agree that more pictures would be helpful but in reality that just limits the buying pool which is better for you as a buyer.

6000 RPM tach. 350hp if memory serves me correct. I don't believe AO Smith bodies got side exhaust either.

I noticed the discrepancy between the 300 horse engine and the 350 horse tach.
It is certainly not a sidepipe car with that trim tag.

It is a 630 area code - might be located in a Chicago suburb and therefore plenty of people to be able to put eyes on it...….

Same seller has this for sale too https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Oldsmo...r/401920137852

----Sounds as if the car is a Cutlass in disguise. Cool car but I wonder what that does to the value?...….Bill S

Not buying the "perfect" California birdcage claim. Those tags have a lot of patina and the cross bar has a lot of rust. I've never found one that has rust on the cross bar and did not have quite a bit more rust in the cowl and door pillars.
