RARE 396 427 Yellow & Red Tip Dipsticks GM 68 69

- Rare Dipstick for 427 396 engines, This has the yellow tip with the flat handle and no crease on the straight part of handle. Has "USE GM6041-M-QUALITY MS OIL with the sideway E" stamped on the stick part. The total length from tip to the end of the handle loop is 24 1/4" from tip to add is 1 1/8", tip to full is 2 1/8", from tip to the end of actual visible stick part right after the wiggly part of the stick is 20 5/8". These measurments could be out a small fraction of an inch but are very close as I was using a measuring tape. This dipstick was sent into a plating shop with many other parts so it has a silver zinc color and will need a new seal. But check all dimensions to be sure it is for your engine. It is still a hard to find part having the flat handle and yellow tip is like new. $75.00.

I also have a red tipped dipstick that also has the flat handle I cannot find any info on this one. I think it is a replacement for a 68 -69 427 396 engine. I have found many that have the newer round style handle but not with the flat section. This stick has 14010288W and USE SE ENGINE OIL, total length 26 3/8", 15/16" to add, 1 7/8" to full and 23 1/16" to end of stick by seal. This is in great shape with natural finish and nice red tip. Again, measured with tape measure so may be out a fraction of an inch. If you can identify this one let me know what the correct application is.
