Default Chevelle Trim Tag?

I have been asked to paint a 70 Chevelle convertible big block car with an unusual trim tag. Has anyone ever seen this date before? The owners told me the heads and block were cast in september (I may be wrong, but think that's what they said). Motor is numbers matching, owner did not even know there was a vin on block, luckily it matched and trim tag has never been removed.

I've seen another that was stamped similar from Van Nuys. They made an error on it and reversed the date code.
Yours' might be one of these, and if so should read 03D,for March 4h week.
What's the last 6 digits of this Chevelles' VIN to check against the March build out schedule?

I would assume that is the case also. Stamp setter may have had dyslexia. I probably would have had the characters arranged for 3DO..

Definitely an October '69 Leeds build.
It could be 10D 3 0266,and the number 1 is covered by the rivit, but not know why the #3 would be so close to it.
