Shows 1.1M if there was “real money” on the auction. I didn’t see it go across the block or I could have likely been able to tell.

Mecum website shows no sale amount for this 65 Riviera GS, but I saw it auctioned on TV. When the bidding reached $50K, the reserve was dropped. Bidding kept going and going and going, and it sold for $150K

Those mid 60's Riv's are white hot lately, especially the dual quad GS's. Timeless look for sure

Did anyone else notice seeing the C1 “Super Sport” Corvette that I think was some sort of pilot-type circuit car to show off the new fuel injection? I remember seeing it in the Featured Lots and then even saw them featuring it on Motor Trend broadcast…and then it was gone.

Right before it was supposed to cross the block it was nowhere to be found. Never auctioned off and it was no longer listed online.

This is all assuming I’m not crazy, which is possible. I felt like I was the only person who noticed.

There was a controversy on this car and it was pulled from the auction. My understanding is it had to do with ownership rights, not the car itself.
