I remember back in '83-84 or so, a neighbor had those Firestone Super Sports on a '68 Chevelle. Haven't seem those tires in YEARS!

Default Firestone steel slots dated 1969

I picked these up this week, they were on a 66 Vette drag car. Anyone know anything about these wheels? Attached is a pic of the tires and wheels on the Vette. The car is currently getting ready to be street driven, the now owner installed a SB tunnel ram, got the hood scoop painted to match by a local shop near me, they did an amazing job blending and matching that green metal flake and endless stripes paint scheme. This car will be for sale soon. I will resize the pics of the car and attach.

I do not like his choice of new tires and wheels, he bought everything from Summit.

He is going to put license on it and drive it on the street so this is what he likes. It will be on the road before spring.
