I’m not aware of any public registry on these cars, but there are a few people who have accumulated a lot of info about them (myself included). In particular about the ‘71 Hemicudas, of the 122 hardtops and 12 convertibles known to have been produced I have info on about 101 of the hardtops and all of the ragtops. I have lesser expertise on the ‘70s, but I have some knowledge about many of the 696+ hardtops and comprehensive knowledge about the 18 converibles. Some of this info was given to me privately, but I’d be more than happy to share whatever info I can, and I’d be very interested to hear, and share with other reputable Mopar data collectors, about any “new” ones. What have you got?

The only thing I know of that existed at one time was the registry that the National Hemi Owners Association compiled. That organization is long defunct. Even back when it did exist, trying to get any credible information from them was like trying to get gold out of Fort Knox.

Too bad the information on those great hemi cars isn't shared and compiled into a public registry. It would be a real service to the hobby.

I completely agree. And rest assured I’m working on it. In the meantime you can feel free to ask me anything about them, I’m happy to help.

I think that site was active about 15 years ago, but for whatever reason never got much traction and I don’t think it has been updated in 10+ years. And the Mopar registry world had a little hiccup about 10 years ago. There was one high-profile Mopar authority who ran his own registry, and for decades numerous people were volunteering their info, but his registry morphed into an info-for-hire setup that turned a lot of people off. Since then Mopar folks have become a little leery as to whom they volunteer their information too. There is a fellow who has a public registry for all Ebody convertibles (http://www.ebodyconvertibleregistry.com), and there’s a lot of information on the Hamtramck Historical website (http://www.hamtramck-historical.com), both of these are run by volunteers and their info is public. Until something changes the only other way to get info is to ask those who know.
