Default '63 Bonneville Convertible "Brass Hat" Car - Per Build Sheet

I've always heard the 'Brass Hat' term to describe a company car ordered by some managerial / exec type, but I've never seen it called out on the build sheet! Pretty cool.

I say it to myself all the time: How do such neat cars wind up this way??

But I know the answer: Because for decades they were just cars.

991 is the code for a Zone office, so 07 991 would be the Pontiac Zone.

35-997 is PMD Engineering.
