That is actually a 1971 issued part#,that superseded the red or black colored 1970 GM assembly line trunk release button #9787827 w/attaching front nut.

GM of Canada Parts book list this number for 1970-as well I have a friend that is the original owner of a 70 ss 396 car-GM of Canada Docs-and has the green button in his glove compartment-stay safe!
