Default Wow... Original Black '68 Camaro SS396 Garage Find, Drag History?

Original A-A paint code, CE motor, bunch of old drag decals on the quarter windows...I love it. 840 heads so it may have been a L78 - but the pulleys don't look to be deep groove. Trans is a Saginaw according to the seller so the drivetrain isn't original anyway. Would be really interesting to see the axle code.

I'll bet this thing would get all the attention if you got it running and drove it to the local cruise night.

No idea why the seller thinks it had factory air...clearly didn't.

$15k buy-it-now.

More pics got posted here... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Camaro...IAAOSw7pldMxXf

When he said it had a coil spring rear suspension I was envisioning a cup up back half, but that's not the case. Somebody got a car with some neat potential.

I foresee a full cleanup, and a $22k asking price in the very near future.

I'm thinking it may be original paint with the original door edge guards in place.
