Rapid Rabbit was also out of the Reading, PA area and also prepared by Lee Crupi. That car still exists but no signs of Bad Bunny or the Musser Bros car at this time. Knappy owns the Collett Speed Shop car now.

Interesting how many 67s were RS cars.

Just for clarification, the car being auctioned at Mecum is NOT the car referenced as the one sold at Midwest Car Exchange / Bob Harris. It looks similar but not.

Thanks for the clarification. I found it hard to believe that they would have been the same car, just repainted without the pin stripes.

Ok, I’ve got to admit I’m confused. Did Mecum change the photo in their description? Notice at the top it says RS/Z. Now the current pictures are of a non RS car. The pictures originally posted were of a RS car weren’t they or am I losing my mind (which is totally possible).

Jon thanks for posting that picture (way cool), and the update on the Collett Speed Shop car. Knappy I’m jealous.

You are not losing your mind -- they pictures are updated and a non-RS even though the title is still RS.

Dennis, thank you, I was about to sign up for a cat scan. Not to beat a dead horse (and trust me this horse is dead) I went back through my photos and the Plum Z currently on the Mecum site is the previously referenced Heartbeat Z.

Geez this has gotten confusing. Completely different car for auction now.
The heartbeat Z looked like a shell with no mention of engine or transmission

----Bill,,,The body tag on that Heartbeat car looks way too undamaged for being 50 some years old. Can someone verify my suspicions???......Bill S
