Default install roof rails on 1969 Camaro

I'm trying to install the roof rails back into X66 714 but I can't find something to replace the sealing strip that goes on the back side of the stainless roof rail. My 68 LA car had something like cab tape foam. The 69 has black 3/4 wide thin material. Any help out there please? Thank you, Joe

I’ve used 3m strip caulking in the past. Not 100% authentic but seems to work good.

I got plenty to do, Just trying to get bulky & fragile stuff off the floor. Is that what you used for your roof rails? How thick is it? Thanks Joe 520-490-6093

I could use some of that too as I'll be doing a set of them in a couple months from now. If you can find out what they call it I'd be happy to order some for my own use?

Cheers
