I’m in need of a frame and came across a really rough 69 cutlass convertible that I believe can be bought for around $500!

Easy to get your money back on this.

If the frame is good it’s 2K right there. (Most likely not good)

Lots of small items can be sold for 500 buck!!

PS: A friend is going to restore a 69 W31 Convertible and needs some parts.

Be prepared for the frame to need extensive rust repair if the car is also rusted.

I watched one almost rust into the ground and when they finally sold it I ended up with the center "convert" section as the rest of the frame was too rusty for repair. I then cut the convertible box sections off the rails and had them sand blasted. They were much worse than expected and still sit up in my rafters today.

Yea I’m gonna go back this weekend when it’s dry and crawl underneath the car to do alittle poking around and see what I can find out. The cars rusted pretty good so we will see.

Well went back and crawled under the car and the frame was rotted terribly like the rest of the car so I passed.
