Default Stinger hood insert

Does anyone know if the Vett hood/scoop insert fits the repop hoods? I have a new repop hinged/fibre hood for my 72 Nova and like the look of the insert. Just want to be sure they do actually fit before I buy/paint!

cheers Dave

From what I've heard, it won't be bolt in. In order for it to fit well, it takes patience and effort.

Patience I have. I just wasnt sure if the repop hood scoop was even close to the orig Vett. I do think the stinger needs the insert so Im going for it.

cheers Dave

Dave
You could just not use one Just another option to consider ? Good luck with it.

I thought of leaving it open like on Mike's Camaro, a very cool look, but we had the piece so we threw it in.

Verry sneaky Mike..I have plenty of time to psyche up for fitting of an insert, the container hasnt left Longbeach and will be a around 28days on the water. Did you use the rear stud mount on the insert or just the side screws?

cheers Dave
