Default Barrett-Jackson Bidder assistants?

Did anyone else notice a handful of bidders losing out on buying a car because of a bidder assistant lack of communication with the bidder?
I noticed it and the bidders were noticeably frustrated and all the bidders assistants would just say “sorry”.

Maybe they got the word on Friday and Saturday, we weren’t at all near the front and they were in our lap as soon as we raised a hand.

The bidder assistants were working with the bidder at the time of miscommunication.
Charley might chime in. I noticed he was trying to buy a Mach 1 and before he knew it, the gavel fell.

Bill, I got the polished bronze 427 Cobra. It’s stunning.

Tim that was one of the cars there that I would have liked to own, also the other bronze looking one with the cammer ?

Yes I was bidding on the purple Mach1 and looking at screen to see what the bid was and they hammered it sold . There were only two of us bidding and I was going to bid again. I don't think there were any shenanigans but more a case of a lot of cars to get thru and the auctioneers were tired and wanting to get out of there.

Charley, the Cammer was Copper, for some reason I liked the bronze as it looked more gold.
The chassis is stainless steel. It's the most beautiful Cobra I've ever seen.
