Default Dave Ellis~Collector

Just heard we lost Dave Ellis this week.
Dave was a one of kind, and had a pretty stout collection in Southern Calif. He was a pioneer to the hobby dating back to the 1970's and helped many of us with our collections.Dave was a member of the childscreen actors guide and played the double of Jerry Mathers on Leave it to Beaver.
Dave graduated from Jordan high school in '66 and was president of the Sultans car club of Long Beach.
Here's a cool video about him from last year.
R.I.P Dave,and Thanks.

Thank you for posting this.

I never heard of Dave Ellis, but now I am aware of him thanks to you.

Watching that video reminded me of me when I grew up in Illinois close to Route 66.
I am a few years younger than him (1954), but share so many of his passions starting when I was a little kid and continuing now as a big/old kid.

He was one cool guy that loved the cool “Stuff”.

RIP Mr. Ellis.

Chris.
