Don’t confuse rotary with scroll compressors. Somewhat different technology. Most AC compressors are now using scroll technology. Eastwood and Puma have made small home shop sized scroll air compressors with varying degrees of success. They are very quiet and efficient.

Actually, I DID confuse those two. The one I was looking at was a scroll.

I have thought about doing that but right now my compressor will drop psi after about 10 to 15 minutes (maybe less). I afraid I would only get another 10 minutes with a second compressor.
