Shame they had the dealer install that luggage rack. I've never seen one on a coupe before and it's not attractive. Everything else about that car is so nice.

I don’t understand the need for this rack, as there is ample room in these coupes behind the two bucket seats for luggage for the one, or two occupants.

Plus I would think anything large strapped to that rack would impede on the rear view, not to mention having access to the fuel door.

PS, unless there was the option of a 36 gallon tank on this car that would make it very unique.

----Chris,,,AAMCO (the people who made those beautiful wood shift knobs) had a luggage rack that hinged at the top and bolted down to attachment pieces screwed to the rear bumper. So both the fiberglass and the bumpers were damaged. Not a very good idea, but at least you could get to the filler neck without removing all the stuff on the rack!....Bill S
