nope.....that was standard practice on a ford door tag

more pics to follow, there are a couple more skill testing questions but ya gotta get this one first

Fred is quizzing you guys. He explained it to me. You probably have to be a Ford freak to figure it out. Ever see a Ford door tag with that much blank space ?

great tag decoding.....ding....ding....ding.....
you got all the info correct, that was not the clue. charley let the cat out of the bag, the tag is oversize....why?
secondly what does the 89 dso stand for?
lets go to step 2, explain this apron stamping:

I'll go out on a limb and say the Tag is a Fraud. judging by the Apron stamping, someone is/was trying to pass off a 302 2V Mustang as a GT500 or Cobra Jet Powered Car.

I see that Dave the R code on the tag and the F code on the apron , but what does that star mean?
