Need motorhome towed from Florida to PA.
I have decided to do 'something' with my motorhome. I have lost storage space and I either need to bring it here or sell it. It has only 23k miles,so Id rather not let it sit any longer. My Father bought it new, and when my Mom passed, I bought it from him.
It is a 28 foot Winnabego near Gainesville Fl. (2 hours North of Orlando). It has been parked for 5 years and I need to have it here in Pa. I would like to have it towed/trailered here if possible, It starts/runs perfect, but the tires, although very low miles, have dry rotted slightly. To drive it here would mean register/insure/tires/fluids/batteries,etc. And the trip. I'd rather not. Are there any carriers that handle such vehicles?? Any suggestions?? Thanks SYC |

Maybe TDW's guy can drive it back.

Re: Need motorhome towed from Florida to PA.
It would cost you more to have it shipped than to get it road ready and drive it back.
Even if you shipped it, once it was home, you'd get it road worthy anyway so that expense is a definite regardless. The additional expenses would then either be an airplane ticket or pay to have it shipped. Which is less? Verne |

Re: Need motorhome towed from Florida to PA.
Are the tires really that bad only being five years old. How about a dealer tag.I would have been more than happy to go to Florida this winter and drive something back for someone with my tag. As cold as it is this morning I'd still be interested
