Default 1969 Chevelle Radio Capacitor on Ignition Coil

Does anyone know why the 69 Chevelle assembly manual does not show the radio capacitor for the ignition coil application??

Thanks Rich

Rich,

I'm not sure that there is supposed to be one on the ignition coil. My ass'y manual shows them elsewhere in the engine compartment under the U63/U69 radio option pages. Detail pics I have of my 69 convertible engine compartment do not show one anywhere near the ignition coil.

there could be one under the dash..plugged right into the fuse block..look there in the assy manual..i sold a dozen or so last year or two, and i found them in 3 spots..i think the model determines the location

I would ask Rick Nelson..SS427 he is into details like that
