Default Mascar 1969 R code Mustang Resto

What's not to like about an Uber Rare Candy Apple Red Cobra Jet Convertible with a Shaker ?
While this car checked out to be a good bones example it was restored a couple of decades ago to a standard that can be improved by todays standards. So we at Mascar have decided we should tear it down and do it again. The car was purchased in June and we have started the work. I will update occasionally for anyone interested in following along. Here are a few pics to kick off the intro showing it's current state of restoration. The shell is out to be dipped and we have received the body etc back ........ its always nice to start with a good car ........ its wonderful when the car is MUCH better than expected! This car is being restored for MCCAN 2017 and this car is a keeper for me! Its a fantasy car and am so happy to have it in my collection, all numbers match, all metal is correct and as I said, much better than expected!
