Default '63 Ford Galaxie 427/4-sp R-Code Post Sedan

Wow, red on red too, what an awesome ride. If you can set aside the fact that it's being offered by Smoky Mountain Traders, it's a heck of a cool car.

Same body as the Galaxie, but technically it’s a “300”, as evidenced by the lack of Galaxie emblems and just about any piece of trim outside OR inside (that bright trim on the C Pillar is only there because it hides an unfinished seam). I think there’s a couple of these red/red R code 300’s out there. There’s some detail stuff to fix, the backwards air cleaner lid, the fan sticker that should be on a poorly restored Camaro, and the wrong wheels (correct 15x5.5” Kelsey-Hayes hipo rims are as expensive as XT’s-figure on $2k to put a set of 5 together.

“...should be on a poorly restored Camaro.”

Now, that’s funny!

I'm surprised they don't have some scantily clad young lady posing by it.

EDIT: Oops, I see there is a young lady in one picture.....alluringly clad - yes, scantily - no.

Is that why their prices are always so much higher?
