72 BMW 3.0CS on BaT
Cool old BMW Coupe here in the PacNW. I know there's more than a couple BMW fanboys here:https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-3-0cs-19/

Wow. Already up to 35k. 7 days to go. Very nice example and great colors.
I had a 73 Bavaria in the same color combo. These are not near the cruisers that the later model Bimmers are, but they FEEL much lighter than they are. Very nimble; handling is great for 1972 standards. Here is a bit of trivia (of course, guys that ONLY care about American muscle don't care): What are the two objects I have circled, and what is their purpose? All the 70's Bimmers I owned had the same feature.

Those are spacers to adjust the bumper ride height to meet US specs. My folks bought a brand new '72 Bavaria from Hoffman in the Chicago area, Riviera blue with tan interior. I remember going to the lot to pick it out. We got the base model and my step dad had an aftermarket radio installed. I remember the price as being $6K new.
