That exact thing happened to my sisters car. They broke the collar and away they went. She did get the car back luckily.

One year I hid an inactive phone in the Chevelle that I fully charged. I took pictures of the serial number on it, in case I needed the local authorities to ping it.
Recently, I keep an active phone hidden in my car. Probably not the best security but at least it’s something. Kurt Kurt |

Anyone have lojack? Website talks about dealer install but not interested in trailering car an hour for that. I emailed to see if I can do it myself
